In the version of iOS 16 released to the public, the battery percentage option is not available on the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 13 mini. Instead, you had to swipe down into Control Center to view the percentage. The battery indicator is now showing the percentage Id like to turn this off, as I prefer the previous full-to-empty indicator style. ![]() With the introduction of the notch and the limited space for status bar information, Apple dropped the percentage. The battery percentage was a staple of the status bar for iPhone models leading up to the iPhone X. BATTERY INDICATOR PERCENTAGE ANDROIDIf you’re charging, you’ll see the percentage with a small charging icon next to it. All you need to do is 'Check' on Show Battery Percentage and if your device has KitKat and Lollipop Android version, then you will see level indicator when you reboot/restart your phone. If your iPhone is in low power mode, the battery icon turns yellow. Swipe left and right through the widgets to view the size options. When you’re done checking the percentage, dismiss Control Center by swiping upward anywhere on the screen. That’s how much of your total battery capacity you have left until you charge it up again. Tap at the top of the screen, then scroll down and tap Batteries. With Control Center open, you can see the numerical battery percentage in the top-right corner of the screen. Add a Batteries widget to your Home Screen Touch and hold the Home Screen background until the apps begin to jiggle. When your iPhone is disconnected from power, you’ll see the normal battery icon but with the percentage number inside. On an iPhone with a Home button: Go to Settings > Battery, then turn on Battery Percentage. This is how much battery your iPhone 12 has left. Here, click the checkmark next to the Show Battery Percentage option. In the top right corner of the screen, next to the battery icon, is the battery percentage. Now, from the sidebar, choose the Battery option. It might even be enabled by default, but that only appears to be the case for some users. Click the Apple icon from the menu bar and choose the System Preferences option. Be notified when battery becomes critical, low, high, and full. BATTERY INDICATOR PERCENTAGE WINDOWSSimply go into Settings, then choose Battery, then toggle on the new Battery Percentage option. See your battery percentage, health, status, and other details in the Windows system tray. In iOS 16, you can add the battery percentage back to the status bar. This addresses one of the most common iOS requests since Apple removed the icon with the release of the iPhone X. The battery percentage has finally been added back to the status bar with this week’s release of iOS 16 to the public. ![]()
